What's Going On in Syria?
There was once dictator named Hafez Al Assad who ruled over Syria in tyranny for 40 years. His son Bashar Al Assad inherited Hafez's throne and did the same. We had enough. We protested peacefully for change yet the Bashar Al Assad brutally massacred us for this and invited the worst the world has to offer to come and settle scores in our country. Now Syria is a shattered and war torn nation where regime forces, sectarian milities and proxy armies mixed in with ISIS and Al Qaida militants roam the country destroying all life at will.

This is what two little boys look like after surviving a regime arieal attack on their home in Idleb in December 2012. They are burnt from head to toe. There's not much doctors can do for them.
These people, many of whom are children, slowly suffocate to death after regime forces launched a poison gas attack on them in the middle of the night. More than 400 children die that night

Do Something About It!
If you are an American citizen, you can click here (or on the widget to the right) to send a letter to your local congressman/woman asking them to enact a no-fly zone in Syria.
For people around the world, you can also make a difference today. You don't need money, just your free will to act and to contact your local representative and demand that they Do Something. This is a chance to not only punish Assad for using chemical weapons, but also to prevent the continued slaughter of innocent Syrian civilians and pave the way for a political transition to democracy.
Why a no-fly zone?
The only actor in Syria that possess aircraft is Bashar Al Assad's forces. These aircraft drop everything from military grade missiles and bombs to crude barrels stuffed with explosives almost exclusively on civillans. If a no-fly zone is created this would offer people unable to flee Syria a safe zone and hopefully an area that is a viable alternative to the regime. This would also stem the flow of refugees into neighboring nations, crippling already scarce resources. Our country is slowly slipping away into the abyss, please help us save it.
